    THE AFOREMENTIONED ALCATEL CELL PHONE WAS ADVERTISED IN A MISLEADING MANNER SO AS TO MAKE THE PURCHASER REGARD THE ITEM AS BEING "UNLOCKED" (USABLE ON ANY CELLULAR SERVICE... WHEN IN FACT IT WAS A "LOCKED" INSTRUMENT (USABLE ONLY ON VERIZON SYSTEM.) THE PHONE IS UNUSABLE!!! I WAS SUBSEQUENTLY ADVISED BY CONSUMERS CELLULAR THAT THEY HAD COMPLAINTS OF THE SAME ISSUE WITH PHONES ADVERTISED AS "UNLOCKED" WHEN, IN FACT, THEY WERE "LOCKED" INSTRUMENTS!

    The customer was trying to use the phone with Consumer Cellular which uses the AT&T towers, we explained to him as we have stated in the listing the phone is Verizon network unlocked so it would need to be used with a service provider who uses Verizon towers. We offered him a full refund and asked him to please return the phone.
