Half bound in leather with marbled boards. Worn to the edges and corners, with scuffing to the leather, but tightly bound and in good condition generally. Illustration pages are browned, as is the norm with these volumes. An interesting collection of fact and fiction, with notable pieces being " Switzerland by pen and pencil", Christmas in Morocco, the happy journey, a reminiscence of the Himalayas, A fortnight in Paris, Descent of the Matterhorn, with fiction pieces including sections of " Cressida", and " curious adventures of a field cricket", the latter being an illustrated piece, as well as a number of pieces of poetry.”
