DMT sharpeners cannot be return for any reason once they have been used or scratched at all. If a problem return before u try it. Once it is scratched it is covered under DMT factory warranty. The box must be opened carefully without it being torn to be returned on these big sharpeners. It has to be returned in the same condition in which you received the item.
