Well this doll arrived today. All cleaned up. The doll is getting a new wig soon. I must get some stickers to replace the eyes. Some arcylic paint for the lips too. This doll is called Lil' Softee. My aim is to make this doll look Factory Finish. I also replicate the original box. My niece named this one Katie. It was made by Horsman dolls not Chevrolet as in your description, funny though. My husband has the tiny shirt in a frame for his man cave.
