Oval base signed HE for Holger Eriksson, artist who cast the mold, + EIRE for its place of creation, in Ireland, where the Comet company subsidiary was set up after WW2 in 1946. Circa: 1946-1950. 54mm/1:32. Uniform: Red tunic w/green facings, white waist belt + straps, navy half trousers, black short boots, yellow turban w/red stripes. HE + EIRE imprints on base. Good + condition for age and use. No missing pieces, repairs or breaks. ABOUT THE COMPANY: Authenticast was the name of COMET brand soldiers that were created from 1930–1939 — and 1946-1953 when a subsidiary of the Comet company was set up in Ireland after WWII in order to take advantage of post-war economic regeneration initiatives. A fine collector's soldier. NOTE: We carefully pack the pieces for shipping. Each is individually wrapped first in tissue paper then in bubble-wrap. QUESTIONS?
