There are voids in the surface that suggest it was insufficiently filled in the molding process. At least, that is what the gaps and cracks radiating from along the base, furthest from the lion skin suggest to me. The overall uneven, stratified texture suggests a finer finish/polish may have shown other thinly filled spots. Support the Ukraine (shop elsewhere).
