Salvaged from a damaged Tallis Atlas (The Montgomery Martin edition). I have pictured the title page for reference but the title page is NOT included in the sale. Coloured in outline. Measures approx 14.5 ins by 10 ins. Illustrations by H Warren & engraved by J Rogers. The map drawn & engraved by J Rapkin. It is in good condition with some signs of use and age. There is mild toning to the margins. Bottom left hand margin, facing, has a small closed tear, 4cm. Bottom edge has some creasing etc from where it was bound as an atlas. Top edge is close cropped at title. Minimal dust marks.”

That might not be important to everyone but at this stage of my collecting I am trying to fill the gaps in dates that I do not have.
