In the posting, it clearly said that it was chrome plated and solid brass. It was actually chrome plated aluminum. That does not work well with stainless steel line fittings. I had to remove one of the lines and the threads were galled. It could no longer be used. I have never had this happen with brass proportioning valves. The seller required me to send back the old part in order to get a refund. It was not worth it.
