The deck arrived well packaged with no damage. It plays very well and is in good cosmetic shape, as was described and shown in the pictures. There are some very minor issues, like the tape counter does not operate, the motors do not develop full torque, but these things are expected considering the age of the unit.
The seller is good at communicating, when prompted.
Overall this unit is in great shape and produces excellent sound when given good source material, and offered at a good price point

This radio was most likely perfect when it left Japan. However, it was not packed for the long trip and suffered shipping damage. The bottom feet MUST be removed prior to shipping or this kind of damage WILL occur. This radio would be perfect for a restoration, but the shipping damage has turned it into a parts unit, which the seller was honest about. Guess I'm saying that shipping something this heavy half way around the globe is a gamble, so keep that in mind. No reflection on the seller.

This is a junk radio, for parts only. The seller was honest about that. Packing could have been much better by removing the bottom feet - a well known cause of shipping damage. Other than that, I am satisfied.
