The item was sold with a no return policy simply because for health and safety reasons the item can't be resold. The item is designed to be fitted to each person and if done correctly can be modified to fit all - but doing incorrectly can make an uncomfortable fit of the item. As was the case when the return was requested. Asking me to pay for a mistake you made by not following the instructions is unreasonable.
