It is causing me inconvenience and worst off, instructing me to arrange my own return postage. Eventually, i received a return tracking code from seller and no further explanation on what to do next. Very inconvenient!

While kind of true the leads were soldered to the circuit board and the battery has a metal strip going from negative to the top,. I wish he had mentioned this. I didn't measure it but the battery looked shorter than a regular 18650 but I could be wrong.
