You opened a return and a shipping label was sent to you. The manufacturer will not warranty the converter due to the photos you sent the converter was clearly over heated which caused the internal brick to break apart. This is a running issue with your vehicle, not a defect with the converter. If you do not fix the issue with your vehicle you will continue to have an issue.
