    Obviously fake. It's some kind of hard resin covered in oil. It even came with a certificate of authenticity card. They went through a lot of trouble to make a fake piece of quartz. Since I only spent a buck on this, I'm not sure whether to be offended or just amused. They even sent me a faulty "gem" as a free gift! Seems like it would have been cheaper for them to just get the real thing.

    The stones had been lapidary sawed in the back by the supplier. The seller refunded . He still behind his merchandise was just a good thing.
