Tube was folded! The 2m length of 10x13 tube had 9 sharp bends, held bent by wrapping tape. I spent quite some time with a heat gun, carefully unfolding the kinks. There are still permanent kinks that I cannot get rid of, but the tube will now work in my application without undue flow restriction, and it appears to still be structurally sound.
If ordering PTFE tube from this seller, I recommend discussing how it will be packaged, maybe pay extra for a larger parcel, or get 10 x 200mm lengths.
