Perfect for low-light situations in which speed and mobility are at a premium, the SIRUI P306 monopod is far quicker to deploy than a tripod, yet will stabilize an equipment load of up to 17.6 lbs (8 kg). This makes this aluminum monopod ideal for 35 mm cameras, small DSLRs, and digital or conventional video camcorders. Constructed of aluminum and advanced eight-layer carbon fiber for lightness and strength, the SIRUI monopod has six telescopic sections, which can extend to a maximum height of 60.6 inches (154 cm), yet the SIRUI P306 monopod folds down to just 15 inches (38 cm) and weighs only 1.1 lbs (0.5 kg), making it easy to carry around at all times. The SIRUI monopod also has a convenient wrist strap and a hand grip that provides both a comfortable hold and insulation in cold weather. A particular feature of the SIRUI P306 monopod are its durable silicon twist locks, which secure the telescopic leg sections when opening and closing and keep this aluminum monopod stable when in use.
