I am not sure if this works anything like the more expensive ones, but this only claims to delay the start of the blower motor by what seems like an excessive five minutes. That might be ok in mild temps but that is a long time IMHO when temps are high. The high side pressure could get excessive and in turn the amp draw would climb and defeat its own purpose and could be hard on the compressor. So, I am reluctant to even try it, a minute would be better.
