I finally got my pontoon out of storage today and was looking forward to trying the tape I took a chance and tried it on my cover I don't recommend anyone using it on your average boat cover as they are mostly a heavy duty canvas type material and not polyester material I'm sure the tape would be better suited for a smooth polyester and I knew when I bought I was experimenting so that's why I'm nuetral.
