They are made better, they last longer. This one features a gold Miyota Japanese GL12 excellent quartz movement. The quality can't be understated- most mass produced movements today are plastic and are made to break after a short period. Not this one-- Adidas is a top quality name and this is a professional water watch with a screwback case cover good for 100 meters! It has a countdown rotating bezel for timing. This one is a beauty! I love the deep blue iridescent dial with a date indicator Nice! New long lasting silver-oxide battery was just installed and tested and keeping perfect time.”
