The water wasn’t dark and 2 washes left it smelling nice. I had minimal shedding in only one bundle during washing process. When it was installed my beautician said she like this hair. I don’t feel that it’s very thick because with 3 bundles it feels thin gathered together BUT the quality is great and it looks very natural
