Of course the Royal Family was banished from 1947 but I did meet the man who
said he was the rightful King of Romania (born in this palace) Prince Carol Miciea (?). He told me that the man who claims to be king was an illegitimate child. He won his case through the European courts 3 times but everytime the usurper won on appeal. He spent all his money fighting his case but died a few years ago in a Fulham flat.
