Post arrived day early, Tues 16th. Very well packaged. Panic as stylus on a foam bed. This had bent plastic needle support inwards. It wasn't sticking out proud of surround so wouldn't have reached record groove!
Panic over when clipped into cartridge it was pushed out to correct position. In time the plastic should 'learn' position.
Looking forward to playing my parents 78rpm collection.
