Seller Notes: “This is a set of FOUR cool light gray Art Deco Hawkinson Porcelain candlestick holders. Designed by ... “This is a set of FOUR cool light gray Art Deco Hawkinson Porcelain candlestick holders. Designed by John L. Hawkinson (1893-1980), of Hawkinson Porcelain in Hartford, Connecticut in the late 1930s. The size is approximately 2 5/8" wide by 2 5/8" high. Each will hold 1- 7/8" Diameter or 1-3 3/8" diameter candles. These are in very good condition for their age but do show signs of use. I have cleaned out the majority of wax - multiple colors / many years. There are still visible traces inside the frog enclosure. There does not appear to be any crazing. All four do not have a completely smooth finish (see pictures) these appear to be natural marks in the glaze - the marks appear to be part of the overall finish and not after the fact issues with chips or damage.”
