These Trigger Guards are designed intentionally to cover the mag release. With that said, we know not everyone uses them the same way and having an accessible mag release would be helpful to some. Some example may be, you can tie your trigger guard lanyard to a belt loop, the inside of a bag, or your pants. For sturdy functioning, you should tie the lanyard to something sturdy
