I waited until I washed and examined this bedspread set. It is gorgeous. It is well-made and surprisingly on the heavy side. The size is perfect for the California king. I was concerned when I received it that it said king and I ordered California king and the seller assured me it would fit both. The seller responded promptly and the seller was right that it would fit without a problem. The design and construction is also pup resistant. I will absolutely be buying another set from this buyer
