This shoe-mount flash uses Thyristor circuitry to achieve fast recycle times, which means photographers don't have to wait around for flash to get ready before capturing continuous shots. This technology also improves battery life, achieving about 1,500 flashes from a set of new batteries. There�s also a flash-ready indicator that informs photographer when flash is ready to go. Four AA batteries power this Vivitar camera flash for Canon/Nikon/Ricoh. In addition, the Vivitar 2800D has an intuitive, easy-to-use control panel. This shoe-mount flash is equipped with a light sensor and an indicator to alert photographer when enough light is supplied to take a shot. This Vivitar camera flash for Canon/Nikon/Ricoh has auto light exposure from 3-40 ft. Experienced photographers can also operate the flash in manual mode for more control over shots. This functional flash unit also accepts color filters to add light effects when taking pictures. Other features of Vivitar 2800D include two automatic exposure settings and the ability to hook up via Vivitar PC cord.

I am so sorry - but this is not accurate. You never contacted me prior to opening up a return case. I accepted the return and once received, opened the box and tested the item (which worked perfectly fine... even posted a video in the re-post). I contacted the buyer to ask why a return was made if the item functioned... He admitted that there was user error. This buyer misused returns and was reported to eBay. Ebay reimburse shipping due to the buyers misuse. Dont know what I did wrong here...
