- a***c (117)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseThe Broadcom BCM95823SSN variant is a capable SSL accelerator on the right platform. Security-minded operating systems as far back as Windows NT 4.0 SP6a disable this it from being used for hardware entropy due to a chip logic design flaw that makes the "random" number generator not as random as we would've hoped. Mine came in like-new condition and its old-style Broadcom logo emblazoned in red adds some nostolgic flair to the rear panel.
