I wasn't sure if it was a defect or if it was just different than the OEM pod but either way I didn't like how it sounded. I contacted the seller who told me that was the first of it they had heard of and offered to send me another unit to try and if I didn't like it I could send both back. The second unit was perfect and a great replacement for the OEM pod. So overall a VERY good experience with both the product and the seller.
