The material felt dry rotted, the uppers were poorly attached to the soles, the soles had zero cushion, and mine came with a crease in the toe area. In my opinion these are unwearable and of no use to anyone. On top of that I paid a hefty price for shipping which is not refundable and if you were to mail them back you would have to pay for shipping again! Think about that. This is a classic style boot that has been sold for over ten years and has a high cost performance. The shoes are for a gala that I am attending with a theme of A Midsomer's Night Dream. I ordered them in green, and they are perfect! I did order a size 40, because they are so pointy, and they fit perfectly. I am usually a 39. The shoes are well made, and so pretty and unusual!
