I guess it's "new" as in "not used", but how "new" can something be after being stored for 10 years? Idk, at least it works and copied files and they verified fine. Let's see how it behaves once I place it on my Unraid server. I hope it lasts! Hey, and the UUID is really unique! I didn't have any complaints from Unraid's installer. For the price, I do recommend it.
