Beautifully decorated endpapers, front very good with no splits, rear has just a tiny split that is barely noticeable. Covers well attached, hinges are good. Previous owner's name penned on verso front endpaper (antique). Includes all color plates as show below. A few pages have a very, very light tide blemish in the upper margin, please see photo below, quite insignificant. Otherwise, the interior is very clean, bright and fresh. Square text block, no loose or missing pages. A chunky, thick book in good condition all around. Presents beautifully. Scarce in this binding with this publisher. Would make a wonderful gift.”
