When on, the lid itself is hard to get off, I need a pair of scissors to pop it off. It's nearly impossible to open without it. Very bad design. At least it is pure copper, I hope. It's not as shiny and pretty as in the pictures but it does taste like pennies. Who hasn't tasted pennies before? LOL!
