I can confirm that these problems are caused by you not removing the protective film on both sides of the stand.
Acrylic items are prone to scratches, so they are protected by protective film.
Please peel off the protective film when you receive the item.

The bracket is to be used with the protective film removed.
This protective film is to prevent the item from getting scratches in transit.
By the time you place it in your home, the acrylic no longer needs the protective film.
This protective film will only affect the clarity and viewing of the item.
