Original blue cloth over dark boards is very well preserved – with little fading, if any. Stamped in white that maintains a sharp and bright relief against dark hue. Binding is near-flawless, along with a nice tight block – indicating a book that has never been read, or read on extremely seldom, basis with extreme care. Some light rubbing along edges has just worn through the cloth on top, front, near binding. A modest restoration and thorough cleaning by a professional will have this gem sparkling. An inscription with signatures of the two lead authors [Ray Faulkner and Edwin Ziegfeld] decorates the inside front cover in bold, blue ink – adjacent to bookplate signed by same recipient. Otherwise no markings whatsoever nor any tears or other damage. Illustrated with 90 pristine photos,”
