The mounting clamp is NOT universal. Does NOT fit Alesis Express RACK. The rack is 1.5 inches (outside diameter) and this clamp is only 1.25 (inside diameter), even after removing the inner grip sleeve. It will not fit under any circumstances. I had to buy a clamp from an outside source which cost me an extra $20.
Don't make the same mistake I did. I feel that the seller was not specific enough in the item description but I will take some of the blame for not knowing any better.
