Text in German. First Edition/First Printing. Acetate DJ has light shelf-wear present to the DJ extremities (small chip present). Previous owner's name present to the FFEP. Text is clean and free of marks, binding tight and solid, boards clean with no wear present. The expedition of the 'Wettertrupp Holzauge' with the weather observation ship 'Sachsen' on the coast of East Greenland under the direction of the meteorologist Weiss in the period from August 1942 to June 1943 experienced several spectacular developments due to the "war-related accompanying circumstances". After initial successes, it came to combat with a Greenlandic sled patrol, which were overwhelmed and prosecuted with the captured dog team. Later, the participants had to retreat due to American bombing in a temporary”
