Upon unboxing and initial inspection, 2 very noticeable tears were viewed, one almost half an inch long. The cardboard sheets that were taped over the painting had no punctures, so this damage was preexisting. The description failed to mention any tears, only "a couple scuffs". Now I'm out over 2k and have a torn painting. Seller was contacted, and is very nonchalant. He states did not notice any tears, but is an "art collector".
