Love my lamp, Jack! My husband cleaned the socket, cleaned the contact and it looks brand new, re-wired the lamp with a new plug. He is a collector of the 20s and 30s antique telephones and he said by the look of the wire and plug he thinks my lamp could be 20s, 30s time period. The socket itself is bigger than the sockets you can buy today. Would you know the date of my lamp? He also cleaned the pull chain. I can’t seem to send the pictures of it here though. I’d like you to see the lamp.
