Very pleasantly surprised… excellent mellow sound, smooth valves, and high quality build all around. Easily along the lines I’d expect from a good midrange or entry professional flugel, and unbelievable at this price point. Finish is excellent. Large Morse shank. Case is very basic, but I expected that, and tbh most of us get different cases or already have them anyway. But overall, the even, smoky tone is the biggest selling point, and it is just right.

this flugelhorn plays fine for an inexpensive horn. Intonation is pretty good. The sound quality not bad for a Chinese horn, but not as good as more expensive major brands. The bottom spring valves are a little noisy. Cost of return shipping not worth the effort.

Anyone hesitating to buy this, don't! Far exceeded expectations! Super fast shipping, absolutely beautiful flawless looking horn, and the quality looks much better than expected. Colorful tone down low, higher register doesn't thin, no slop in keys, level tone holes and decent pads. The mp isn't bad at all either surprisingly. I'd buy this again for the price (currently $1850).
