They are not spring steel, nor tough enough to hold up to the job. They are more like soft mild steel that bends the first time they touch the ground. Completely useless! On the other hand, shipping was quick and the rest of the unit is decent, though I had to do a slight welding mod because the middle support strut has one hole WAY too big.
