    these laces are the bees nees, have had a pair on my walking boots for years, these do not work loose, like those chunky round profile, which work loose even when double notted, i have worked out that the reason the chunky ones come loose, is because, when pulling up your laces, they bind on loops that the laces are treaded through, and after a while, the laces work through, leaving them slack. These laces move freely when you pull up, and you can see the tention apply right from the bottom lac
