I was very disappointed when I received it, as the colour is actually "maroon" or "dark red"-a colour I would never wear. It's a pity the colour wasn't better described, or that the photos weren't edited to better display colour accuracy. I do know reds are difficult to photograph however it's usually possible to do some editing to get a closer match. See photo.
