If you have trouble getting the emergency cable out of the caliper, you should cut the caliper where it surrounds the emergency cable, I had to do this on both rear calipers! You will damage the emergency cable if you use a piler or vise grip! Cut it in two spots then hit the piece out with a chisel and small hammer!
