Good original item 1968 that I had on my first year student reading list 1968-69 that I need as spares for my students today to assess changing demographics in East London in the 1950's and 60's and 2024. See attached photos of Geography of Greater London, British Nationality Act after the war, and History of 20th Century no.76 date 1969 on austerity. See Welcome Institute archives on Medical Officers' Reports for Bethnal Green 1964 for public health issues and poverty and child health.

Good condition for paperback 1969 ( Thames & Hudson edition was 1968 ) and much of what was forecast in biology by its author G. Rattray Taylor has become reality. This was included in my reading list when a first year student in 1968-69 along with "Family and Kinship in East London", and "Catch 22" ( There were others) Bought about four copies on eBay to hand out to my students., three hardcovers and one paperback ( 1969 ) Thames & Hudson 1st edition very rare and still looking for it.
