Roeblings & Son, Trenton, New Jersey. Very old wood spool has many nicks, but original paper label on one side is still readable. Spool is completely (or nearly full) NOS -- marked @ 41/2 lbs, that's what I got on the scale.. 1000's of feet of this lovely and very useful wire Wire on the spool has been stored well, and is not perfect, but pretty clean clean. Some of the outer layers of wire are scuffed and bruised... but it's clear that under the top layers.. that this very old cotton wire will be brilliant””
