I buy most of my jewelry pieces at estate sales, so I am generally confident of the ages and authenticity of what I am selling, by the overall dating of the items at any given sale. Please understand though, I am not a jewelry expert. I buy what I like and what catches my eye. Occasionally I buy something that I later scrutinize and might suspect that it is a newer piece because of construction or patina (or lack thereof) and I will express that in the listing. I will never try to pass something off as genuine if I do not believe that it is. The jewelry that I sell may show normal wear or patina, but would all be considered wearable unless otherwise noted.
