There was some padded cardboard inside the box used for padding and it had lots of white mold on it folded between the two sides of the cardboard

On further inspection this was not mold. The inside of the packaging at first glance had a suspicious white circle growth pattern that reminded me of mold and I got worried and closed it quickly. I later saw it again and realized that just how it looks.
