Seller Notes: “The sheath is sterling silver with a liner of wood or a similar material. The scissors are steel ... “The sheath is sterling silver with a liner of wood or a similar material. The scissors are steel with sterling handles. The piece is approximately 10.5" long when sheathed. The sheath is 6.75", the scissors are 9.5" long with 5" blades. The sheath weighs approximately 1.2 oz, the scissors without the sheath weigh approximately 3.5 oz (standard, not Troy). Both the scissors and sheath are marked sterling and have been tested to confirm. The scissors are still very sharp and functioning properly, they still cut paper cleanly and easily. The scissors still enter and exit the sheath smoothly, and fit snugly into the sheath. The steel blades have some tarnish from age, especially towards the handles. One handle has a spot of repair near the blade, it appears to have been soldered. The silver has some tarnish from age. There is some general wear - spots, scuffs, scratches, etc. Please see photos for details.”
