A vintage & pristine clock is a collector’s miracle! It arrived broken. It was packed in a sturdy box that had no damage. Soft packing inside under it. However the clock face was only taped into a plastic food container & no cushion on it or the back. It’s made of thin plastic of 60+ years old. Per USPS insurance policy I have to give them the clock & refund goes to the seller. I’d be out the clock & $360+. USPS trashes it. We could not reach a compromise on repair cost/refund. VERY UPSET

USPS Upset us both, negative feedback should go to USPS for damaging the clock. It is NOT true the buyer would be out of a full refund.I took out extra insurance and offered a full refund. Insurance $ goes to whoever started the claim. I started the claim for the buyer. I guaranteed the buyer to reimburse her the insurance pay out. It is true she would have to relinquish the clock for an insurance pay out. I can’t speak for USPS telling her they would trash the clock. She chose to keep the clock
