Looked freshly cut. Packaging was excellent. Survived the shipment even in our latest heatwave. Item as described. Definitely purple just as pictured. Just a note to others. Use gloves when handling these specimens. They have very small thorns but you’ll be surprised how they seem to just get everywhere. So ensure you open the package outside and not in your home.
