Had to make adjustments to the shim to expose more thread. Got just enough thread for the nut to catch on. Getting exceptional voltage at idle so I don't have to worry about batteries dying. Just make sure you do the "Big 3 upgrade" at least to utilize the extra current. At 250a is plenty room to make more future upgrades. Overall I am impressed with this alternator, would deal with again!
